Teacher Representatives

TOY Logo The local Teacher of the Year program's selection process is open to county-wide candidates.  Any teacher that meets the criteria established by MSDE may complete the paperwork to compete as a candidate for the county Teacher of the Year.  All candidates will receive a certificate and any gifts donated by sponsors, and monetary awards will be given to the finalists and winner.  Due to the open representation, monetary awards will vary depending on the number of candidates and the designated funding.  The candidate that is chosen as the Teacher of the Year winner is obligated to attend various meetings, conferences, and trips throughout the state of Maryland as the county representative.  The winner will be announced during the spring reception honoring all representatives.
