The Fort Hill Scholarship Fund (FHSF) is an independent organization dedicated to helping Fort Hill High School graduating seniors pursue their goals beyond high school. Through partnerships with alumni, community members, businesses, and generous donors, FHSF provides financial support to students as they continue their education and prepare for their future careers.

Our Mission

Our mission is to invest in the future of Fort Hill students by providing financial assistance for their continued education.

The Fort Hill Scholarship Fund established an endowment to provide scholarships to qualified graduating seniors. The interest generated by the endowment is used to award scholarships that help students pursue their educational and career goals.

Supporting Fort Hill Graduates Since 2008

Since its inception in 2008, the Fort Hill Scholarship Fund has awarded more than $580,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing college, technical, and trade education.

Every scholarship awarded is made possible through the generosity of individual donors, Fort Hill alumni, businesses, and community sponsors. FHSF is committed to growing the fund so that we can increase both the number and amount of scholarships awarded to Fort Hill graduates each year.

Our Partnership with Community Trust Foundation

The Fort Hill Scholarship Fund proudly partners with the Community Trust Foundation (CTF), a public foundation established through the generosity of donors committed to supporting communities throughout Allegany, Garrett, and Mineral Counties.

CTF provides independent oversight and professional administration of the scholarship funds, including the investment of contributions and the administration of donor tax benefits. This partnership helps ensure that contributions to the Fort Hill Scholarship Fund are professionally managed and used to support the educational aspirations of Fort Hill graduates.
